Tonja Guilford is the department’s Office Administrator. She is originally from North Georgia but moved to Spring Creek, Florida (south of Tallahassee, on the coast), when she was 11. Her parents owned a marina in Spring Creek where she learned all about the coast, including how to fish, along with a lot about customer service and people in general! She graduated high school in Wakulla and went on to TCC, where she plans to continue taking classes. She and her husband, Don, live in Spring Creek and have one son together, plus she has four wonderful step-children (three of whom graduated from FSU).

Ms. Guilford’s work background is extensive, including employment in medical, cosmetology and corporate arenas, and she has been able to learn and build from one career to the other. She has always enjoyed working and helping others in the process. In what little free time she has, she enjoys reading, fishing, gardening, bodybuilding and watching football with her family.
