Welcome!

Our local Sociologists for Women in Society (SWS) chapter is an informal group of students and faculty that meets a couple of times a semester for discussions, presentations, and socializing. Meetings typically center on a theme and are held in the evenings off campus. Women and men from non-Sociology departments and from the community (e.g., non-profits, activist organizations, government) are also welcome.

For more information about the Tallahassee chapter of SWS or to be added to the e-mail list, please contact Janice McCabe at jmccabe@fsu.edu or Erica Toothman at elt03c@fsu.edu.
